Biography

Matteo Caligiuri is a Ph.D. student in Computer Vision and Computer Graphics at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Padova.
He received his Bachelor's Degree in Information Engineering in 2020 and his Master's Degree in ICT for Internet and Multimedia Engineering (with honors) from the University of Padova in 2022.
In 2022 he spent 6 months in the Research and Development (R&D) center of Sony Europe in Stuttgart, Germany, as a master's thesis student.
His research activities focus on Non-Line-of-Sight (NLoS) imaging using indirect Time of Flight (iToF) data together with a Deep Convolutional Network pipeline.

  • Non-Line-of-Sight (NLoS) imaging

  • Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learnin (DL)

  • Federated Learning (FL) applied to autonomous driving
